White-label design through Fiverr: an agency sourcing playbook

Short answer

White-label design through Fiverr is an agency ordering logo, brand or web design from Fiverr freelancers, checking it and delivering it under the agency's own name. It works when the agency owns the brief and QA, confirms commercial rights in each package and keeps a bench of proven designers. Fiverr brand identity gigs started at a median $100 in our September 2026 sample, while agencies bill $100 to $149 an hour.

Key takeaways

  • Across 38 well-reviewed brand identity gigs on Fiverr on September 29, 2026, the median starting price was $100; the 13 Pro gigs started at a median $125.
  • Clutch's September 2026 branding guide puts the average branding agency project at $71,652 and typical rates at $100 to $149 an hour.
  • Fiverr adds 5.5% to every order (plus $3.50 under $200), so build it into your cost price.
  • Fiverr's help center allows third-party tools like Slack or Figma only after an order is placed.
  • Keep two or three proven designers per discipline and run every file through your own QA before it reaches the client.

White-label design is the easiest service to outsource badly. The files look finished long before they are right. This playbook covers how agencies source design on Fiverr and Fiverr Pro , price it, protect the client relationship and stop weak work at the door.

How much does white-label design cost on Fiverr?

Across the 38 well-reviewed gigs on the first page of Fiverr’s brand identity category on September 29, 2026, the median starting price was $100 and the middle half ran from $30 to $137.50. The 13 Fiverr Pro gigs had a median start of $125. These are starting prices of the cheapest package, not project totals.

DisciplineGigs analysedMedian startMiddle 50%Pro gigs (median start)
Logo design12$27.50$25 to $43.752 (about $130)
Brand identity38$100$30 to $137.5013 ($125)
Website design (UI)40$80$51.25 to $904 ($267.50)
Presentation design42$70$28.75 to $106.2511 ($160)
Flyers and print42$22.50$20 to $36.251

A real client brand kit usually lands in a Premium package or a custom offer, several times the starting price. Add Fiverr’s buyer fee to your cost: 5.5% of the order plus $3.50 on orders under $200 (an older help page still says $3.00 under $100). See Fiverr fees.

What margin can an agency build on it?

The margin is the gap between your Fiverr cost and your client price, and the market leaves room. Clutch’s branding pricing guide, updated September 21, 2026, lists typical branding agency rates of $100 to $149 an hour and an average project of $71,652.

That does not mean a $137 Fiverr package resells for thousands. Your fee pays for discovery, art direction, presentation, revisions management and QA, which are the parts clients actually value. A simple pricing rule that holds up: cost the Fiverr order at the Premium tier plus fee, add your own hours at your internal rate, then add margin.

LineExample
Fiverr Premium brand package$400
Fiverr service fee (5.5%)$22
Your discovery, art direction and QA (6 hours at $90)$540
Cost before margin$962

Which designers should you put on client work?

Pick for consistency, not the lowest price. Look for Level 2 or Top Rated sellers, or the Pro badge, with portfolios in your clients’ industries. Top Rated requires 40 orders, $10,000 earned and a manual review under Fiverr’s level rules. Our guide on how to find good sellers on Fiverr explains the signals.

Run a paid test before a real client job: one small logo or social template order per shortlisted designer, with the same brief. Keep the two or three who follow the brief closest. That becomes your bench (see building a freelancer bench).

How do you protect the client relationship?

Keep the client out of the conversation and keep the conversation on Fiverr until you order. Fiverr’s off-platform policy says third-party tools are permitted “only after an order has been placed,” so move to Figma or Slack only once the order is live.

  • Confidentiality: Fiverr’s help pages we checked do not publish a standard NDA process. Ask the designer to confirm in the order chat that the work is confidential and will not appear in their portfolio without your approval.
  • Client data: Strip client names from briefs where you can. Fiverr advises against sharing ID numbers, phone numbers or addresses in messages.
  • Rights: Confirm the package includes commercial use and source files (AI, EPS, SVG, Figma). Ask the designer to confirm the work is original and uses licensed fonts and assets.
  • Payment: Pay only through Fiverr. Its help center says off-platform deals expose you to risk “which Fiverr cannot protect against”.

What should a white-label design brief include?

Brief the designer as if they were an in-house junior who has never met the client. Copy this structure:

  • Business, audience and three competitors (names can be anonymized)
  • Deliverables, with exact file formats and sizes
  • Brand adjectives (three) and three reference designs with what you like in each
  • Colors, fonts or assets that must be used or avoided
  • Number of concepts and revision rounds, matching the package
  • Deadline, with two days of buffer before your client deadline
  • AI policy: state “no AI” clearly if that is your client promise, as Fiverr’s AI guidelines ask
  • Confidentiality line and portfolio permission

Our Fiverr brief guide has more examples.

What does a good QA gate look like?

Check every delivery before your client sees it. Fiverr auto-completes an order three days after delivery if you take no action, so review within that window and use “No, I’m not ready yet” on the order page to request revisions.

  1. Brief match: every deliverable, size and format present.
  2. Originality: reverse-image search the logo mark; check fonts are licensed.
  3. Technical: vectors are clean, colors in the right profile, files named your way.
  4. Presentation: rebuild the deck in your own template before sending.

For larger identity projects, split the work into milestone orders so each stage is approved before the next is paid.

Frequently asked questions

Is white-label design through Fiverr allowed?
Buying design on Fiverr and delivering it to your own client is a normal use of the marketplace, as long as the package covers commercial use and you respect the seller's terms. Confirm with the designer before ordering that the work is for a client and that they will not claim it publicly without permission.
How do I keep the client confidential?
Share only what the designer needs, strip client names from files where possible and ask the seller to confirm confidentiality in the order chat before you send anything sensitive. Fiverr's help pages we checked do not publish a standard NDA process, so get the agreement in writing on the order.
What margin do agencies make on Fiverr design?
It depends on your pricing, not on Fiverr. The spread between a Fiverr brand identity package and what clients pay agencies is wide: Fiverr's median starting price in our sample was $100, while Clutch's branding guide shows agency rates of $100 to $149 an hour. Your margin pays for strategy, account management and QA, so price those in.
Should I use Fiverr Pro for client work?
For anything a client will judge closely, yes. Pro freelancers are evaluated by Fiverr's experts before acceptance, eligible Pro orders carry a money-back guarantee within 14 days of completion, and Pro Essential includes a team account with unlimited members at no charge.
