Hiring an email marketing expert on Fiverr in 2026: prices, what to look for and what to send

Email is one of the few channels you own outright, which is why a bad setup costs more than it looks. A beautiful template that lands in spam earns nothing. The best email marketing orders on Fiverr cover three layers: the flows that send automatically, the templates that look right on a phone and the technical setup that gets them delivered.

How much does email marketing cost on Fiverr?

Across the 38 well-reviewed gigs (4.7 stars or better, 20+ reviews) on the first page of Fiverr’s email marketing category on September 29, 2026, the median starting price was $32.50 and the middle half ran from $20 to $121.25. Starting packages ranged from $5 to $1,980. These are starting prices of each gig’s cheapest package, not the cost of a full email program.

At $20 to $35 you usually get one email template designed in your platform, or one campaign built and scheduled. What pushes the price up is the number of flows and emails in them, segmentation, copywriting, list migration from another platform, domain authentication, signup forms, pop-ups and reporting.

Fiverr’s service fee on the $32.50 median is $5.29 (5.5% plus $3.50 under $200, per its payments article), so you pay $37.79. On small orders the fixed $3.50 is a big share, which is one reason to bundle work into one order. The fees guide explains.

Marketplace or Fiverr Pro for email marketing?

For templates and single flows, the marketplace is the right place. For an online store where email drives a real share of revenue, Fiverr Pro is worth the premium. The gap in our sample was striking: 9 of the 38 gigs were Pro, with a median start of $310 against $32.50 overall. That gap reflects strategy work, not just nicer templates.

How do you read an email marketing gig before ordering?

Separate design, automation and delivery, and check which ones the package covers.

• Platform. Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Brevo, HubSpot or others. Pick sellers who work in yours.
• Flows vs campaigns. Flows are automated series; campaigns are one-off sends. Count emails, not “flows”.
• Templates. Built in the platform’s editor or as custom HTML? Editor templates are easier for you to reuse.
• Copy. Written by the seller or supplied by you?
• Deliverability. Look for SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup, or at least a check.
• Testing. Test sends to Gmail and Outlook on desktop and phone before going live.

The median starting package delivers in 2 days. A multi-flow setup with copy takes a week or more, and about a third of the gigs (34%) offered a subscription for monthly campaigns.

What should you put in an email marketing brief?

• Platform and plan, plus store or website platform it connects to
• List size and where subscribers came from (signup form, checkout, events)
• What you want built: templates, which flows, how many campaigns
• The action each flow should drive: first purchase, repeat purchase, booking
• Copy: supplied by you, or written by the seller
• Brand kit: logo, colors, fonts, product images
• Two brands whose emails you like
• Sender domain, and whether SPF, DKIM and DMARC are set up
• Access: a user seat created after ordering
• Deadline and any launch or sale date

What are the red flags when hiring an email marketer?

Email mistakes can damage your sending domain for months, so screen carefully.

• Selling email lists or “blasts to 1 million contacts”. Sending to people who did not sign up is spam. The FTC’s CAN-SPAM guide says each violating email can carry penalties of up to $53,088.
• No mention of unsubscribe or postal address. CAN-SPAM requires your valid physical postal address and opt-outs honored within 10 business days. Gmail’s sender rules ask bulk senders for one-click unsubscribe.
• Ignores authentication. Gmail requires senders of more than 5,000 messages a day to use SPF and DKIM with DMARC alignment.
• Wants your main platform login. Create a user seat after the order is placed. Fiverr says it will never ask for your login or payment details.
• Designs as images only. Emails built as one big image look broken when images are blocked and cannot be read by screen readers.
• Moves you off Fiverr before ordering. Third-party tools are allowed only after an order is placed.
