Google Ads rewards precision and punishes guesswork quickly. A loose keyword list or broken conversion tag can spend a month’s budget on searches that were never going to buy. That is why this category has more Fiverr Pro and Top Rated sellers than most: buyers are willing to pay for someone who has already made those mistakes on another account.

How much does Google Ads management cost on Fiverr?

Across the 36 well-reviewed gigs (4.7 stars or better, 20+ reviews) on the first page of Fiverr’s search engine marketing category on September 29, 2026, the median starting price was $140 and the middle half ran from $42.50 to $298.75. Starting packages ranged from $10 to $1,500. These are starting prices of each gig’s cheapest package, for the freelancer’s work only, not project totals and not ad spend.

A starting package typically buys either an audit of your existing account or one Search campaign built from scratch: keyword research, ad groups, responsive search ads and a negative keyword list. The price climbs with more campaigns, Shopping or Performance Max setup, conversion tracking through the Google tag or Analytics, landing page advice and weekly optimization.

Here is how packages are usually structured. The outer range comes from our category-level estimate of $100 to $1,000 a month and is general guidance, not measured data.

TierTypical feeWhat it usually includes
Basic$100 to $250Account audit, or one Search campaign with keyword research, ads and negatives
Standard$250 to $600 a monthSeveral campaigns, conversion tracking set up and tested, weekly search term review, monthly report
Premium$600 to $1,000 a monthSearch plus Shopping or Performance Max, bid strategy management, ad testing, landing page feedback, calls

On the $140 median, Fiverr’s service fee is $11.20 (5.5% plus $3.50 under $200, per its payments article), so the total is $151.20. Above $200 the fixed part drops away. The fees guide has worked examples.

Marketplace or Fiverr Pro for Google Ads?

If your monthly ad budget is large enough that a wasted week hurts, start with Fiverr Pro. Pro sellers made up 15 of the 36 gigs we checked, with a $295 median start, and Fiverr says every Pro freelancer is evaluated by its experts before acceptance. Eligible Pro orders also carry a money-back guarantee you can claim within 14 days of completion.

The marketplace is strong here too: 61% of the gigs in our sample came from Top Rated sellers, the highest share in the marketing categories we checked. For a small local business testing its first campaign, a Top Rated seller’s audit or setup package is a sensible first order. If you want vetted specialists, go to Fiverr Pro and search for Google Ads.

How do you read a Google Ads gig before ordering?

Read for what happens inside your account and how you will see it. These are the checks that matter.

  • Audit, build or manage. Three different jobs. Make sure the package names the one you need.
  • Campaign types. Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, YouTube. Count only what is listed.
  • Conversion tracking. Setup and a test conversion should be included or clearly priced as an extra.
  • Keywords and negatives. How many keywords, which match types and whether a negative list is part of the build.
  • Management cadence. Weekly or monthly optimization, and for how long.
  • Reporting. Cost per conversion and the search terms report, not only clicks and impressions.

36% of the gigs offered a subscription for ongoing management. Before you subscribe, read our subscriptions guide.

What should you put in a Google Ads brief?

Send this before ordering so the seller can pick the right campaign type and budget. The brief writing guide has a general version.

  • What you sell, average order value or value of a lead
  • Target cost per lead or sale you can afford
  • Locations and languages to target
  • Ten searches your customers type, in their words
  • Searches you do not want (jobs, free, DIY, competitor names you will not bid on)
  • Monthly ad budget
  • Landing page URLs for each product or service
  • Current tracking: Google tag, Analytics, call tracking
  • Account status (new, active or paused) and past results if any
  • Access: Standard user or manager account link, granted after ordering

On access, Google’s help center lists five user levels: Admin, Standard, Read-only, Email-only and Billing. Standard can edit campaigns; only Admin can manage users. If the seller runs a manager account, Google’s help center explains that the client account must accept the link request and can unlink at any time.

What are the red flags when hiring a Google Ads expert?

Most of these show up in the first message.

  • Wants to run ads in their own account. You lose your data and history when they leave. Use your account.
  • Asks for your Google login. Use user access or a manager link, after the order is placed. Fiverr says it will never ask for your login or payment details.
  • Guaranteed first position or a fixed number of leads. Positions and results depend on bids, competition and quality, which nobody guarantees.
  • No conversion tracking in the plan. Without it, optimization is guesswork.
  • Broad match everywhere with no negatives. A fast way to pay for irrelevant clicks.
  • Moves you off Fiverr before ordering. Third-party tools are allowed only after an order is placed, and off-platform work is not protected.

Where do you find a good Google Ads expert on Fiverr?

Start with the shortlist on this page. It lists live Google Ads gigs that passed our rating and review filters, with prices and delivery stamped on the day we checked. Order an audit from your top pick first; a good audit names specific search terms and settings in your account, not generic advice.

Traffic is only half the result. If your landing page is weak, see landing page design. For paid social, see Facebook and Instagram ads.

Frequently asked questions

Is the ad spend included in the gig price?
No. The gig price is the freelancer's fee. Google bills your ad spend to the payment method on your Google Ads account, and it should stay your account, not the seller's.
Search campaigns or Performance Max?
Most small businesses should start with Search campaigns on a tight keyword list, because you can see which searches trigger your ads. Performance Max can work well once conversion tracking is reliable. A good seller explains the choice for your case.
What access level should I give?
Standard access lets a user edit campaigns without managing other users. If the freelancer uses a manager account, they send a link request that you accept, and you can unlink it at any time.
How long before I know if it works?
You will see clicks and search terms within days. Judge cost per lead or sale after a few weeks of data, and review the search terms report together at the first monthly check.
Can the same person run my Facebook ads?
Some can, but the skills differ. Search ads capture existing demand; social ads create it. Hire for the channel that matches your goal first.
